The Bridge is Coming!

The covered bridge timber structure is being shipped from Western Wood Structures in Oregon. Local contractors will complete assembly. The bridge will then be set by crane on the installed abutments.

Dedication and ribbon cutting is scheduled for Springtime 2013!

To date, private contributions and generous donations of labor, services, equipment and materials by local entities have made this exciting element of the Town Master Plan a reality for our community's future !

The bridge will link the Sunapee Harbor area to the parks along the Sugar River, provide access to parking and landmark buildings, become the "photo-op spot", provide tangible economic benefits to local business and encourage revitalization of our Village Center Generations of Sunapee residents and visitors alike will share all the benefits this beautiful structure will provide.

Help raise $25,000. for: Wood shingled roof ….. Lighting fixtures ….. Signage ….. Landscaping ….Installation of the engraved granite stones to complete the project our community will be proud of.
